Looking for a quick, easy, delicious side to your next pasta meal? Look no further...today's recipe is just that. It is something I recently came up with because I had a sour dough loaf of bread to use up and needed a side to go with out meal...I present to you Garlic Pulls Mama Bear Style!
Turn your oven onto broil...and place your rack a couple down from the top level.
Start by slicing your sour dough lengthwise...making sure NOT to cut through the bottom of the loaf. Then turn it around and slice it again going width wise ...again making sure NOT to cut through the bottom of the loaf. You should have something that looks like this:
With your bread sliced up it is now butter time...I just sporadically spread some butter in between the sliced areas...the amount you use for this is all a matter of preference...the only thing to remember is the more butter you put on the better to hold your Garlic Seasoning with. I plan to try melting the butter and mixing in the garlic next go around so that I can pour it over top...might make the process even easier. I'll let you know how that goes.
Once you have your butter in place you can sprinkle on your Garlic Seasoning...we like to go heavy on this part because weLOVEgarlic but again it all a matter of preference.
Place your bread creation into your oven for no more than 5-10 minutes...you will need to watch it closely and not get distracted like I did...
If this happens it is an easy fix...just pop off the top crusty parts and you are all good to go.
Once the bread is cool you can serve it in one piece where every one can just pull off the amount they want to eat.
